He attended the Ingleside Academy, then Geneva College, finally graduating, in 1889, at the Reformed Presbyterian Theological Sem-inary, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, and then filled vari-ous pulpits of the Covenanter Church. He was pastor over the Hickory Grove congregation near Avery, Iowa.
Later he was located in Kansas.
