General Notes: Husband - Jacob Houser


His father willed the fulling-mill and carding-machines to him.

He was a "factoryman," farmer, and surveyor, and was one of the best-read, self-made men of Centre County, Pennsylvania. Fond of a joke, he was also a great lover of the violin, on which instrument he was an excellent performer.
