General Notes: Husband - George Albert Morris

He was educated in the common schools, and worked while a boy with his father in a mill. In 1874 he bought a half interest in a mill then owned by his father. This he operated until 1882, when he was employed by a Mr. Houston, and two years later he was made the head miller. He was a Republican, and he and his wife were members of the Second United Presbyterian Church of Mercer. [HMC 1888, 688]
