General Notes: Husband - John Wallace

He was born at the family homestead on Lick Run, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. When his father died in 1837, the family remained together until he reached his majority, and then the farm was divided between the two brothers Henry Baldwin and John, they paying out the other heirs.
He became a successful farmer, adding largely to the paternal estate. He eventually retired from active pursuits, and in 1898 was residing in Pittsburgh with his wife and daughter.
