General Notes: Husband - John Hopkins


He was born in Ireland, and came to Baltimore, Maryland, in 1791, remaining in America six years, and then returning to Ireland. He revisited America in 1801, and lived for some years in Philadelphia, Adams County, Pennsylvania, and other localities, locating in Wheatfield township, Indiana County, in 1808, and on what became known as the Hopkins homestead in 1816.
