General Notes: Husband - Clark W. Hoon

He was reared on a farm, which was a part of the original tract secured by his grandfather. After leaving school he devoted himself to farming and to following the butchering business, in the winter seasons, being associated in the latter industry with his brother, William T. Hoon. Mr. Hoon's farm was well improved, the comfortable residence having been built by his father in 1867, and in 1895, with his father, he built the substantial barn.
