General Notes: Husband - John Holt

In the third division of lands at New Haven, Connecticut, about 1680, his name is not found. When his father moved to Wallingford, he and his brother Nathaniel received the home lot and Nathaniel sold his interest in it to John. In 1721 he sold the property to Moses Mansfield, and in the deed called himself a mariner. Later he moved to East Haven. He had an allotment of twenty acres in New Haven, as he was a descendant of the original proprietor and was a resident of the town.
