General Notes: Husband - William Henry Johnston


He received a common school education, and his occupation was that of a farmer, which line of work he followed continuously with the exception of four years when he conducted the "Irwin Chronicle," of which he was the founder, and which was later known as the "Irwin Standard." In politics he was a Republican.
