General Notes: Husband - Thomas Dill Weaver


He came to Chartiers township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, from Chester County, about 1787. He settled in the neighborhood of Canonsburg, and bought one hundred and sixty acres of James Allison. He was a mason, and worked at his trade until his death. [HWC 1882, 710]

He was born in Chester County, Pennsylvania, and was there married. After the birth of their third child the young couple came with pack-horses to Washington County, locating at Canonsburg, where both died.

He [John W. Weaver] is supposed to have been born in the Emerald Isle. He came from Chester County, Pennsylvania, in 1787, and first located in Lancaster County, then bought 160 acres of land near Canonsburg, in Chartiers township, Washington County. He was a mason by trade, and followed that business until his death.

She came with her parents from Ireland to Chester County, Pennsylvania, at the age of seven years.
