Freeburg, Snyder Co, PA

His occupation was that of a farmer, and in his later years he retired. He held the office of county commissioner from 1865 to 1868. During his term the court house was built. He also held various township offices. In politics he was a firm believer in the principles of the Republican party, and he was also a devoted member of the Reformed Church.
