General Notes: Husband - Robert S. Henry


He received a com­mon school education, and followed farming until 1889, then retired from agri­culture, and was appointed agent of the Cumberland Fertilizer Company, also of the Standard Fertilizer Company, of Syracuse, New York. In 1892 he estab­lished a general store at Buttercup, Connoquenessing township, and was appointed postmaster of that office July 1, of the same year. He was an ardent Republican, and was a member of the Jr. O. U. A. M., and Eureka Grange, Number 244, Patrons of Husbandry.
