General Notes: Husband - William Marion Andrews

He attended the public schools of his native city, and the Iron City Business College, graduating in class of 1876. He immediately accepted a clerkship in the then New Bethlehem Savings Bank, later the First National Bank of New Bethlehem, remaining three years. In 1880 he purchased the partnership interests of Andrews & Marsh, purchasing Mr. Marsh's interests and having an equal interest with his father. They carried a complete line of dry goods, etc. It occupied three floors, forty by one hundred feet each, where they ran their own electric plant. They gave steady employment to ten people, this being increased to thirty during the busy seasons. In 1903 this store was burned to the ground, the total loss amounting to ten thousand dollars. Later Mr. Andrews was admitted to the lumber business conducted by his father and older brother, the name being then changed to C. E. Andrews Lumber Company.
Mr. Andrews was an active member of the Baptist church, holding the office of trustee.
