W. WAYNE HECKATHORN
W. Wayne Heckathorn, 64, of Meadow Rd., Seneca, employed as a draftsman for the past 20 years by the Pa. Dept. of Transportation, died at 2:15 PM Tues. in Bashline Mem. Hospital at Grove City.
He was born in Seneca, Sept. 2, 1907, the son of William and Laura Goucher Heckathorn. Mr. Heckathorn retired from his job due to ill health. He was a member of Good Hope Luteran Church.
He and the former Ruth Stine were married in 1939. She survives along with a son, Gary W. Heckathorn of Oil City; two daughers, Mrs. William (June) Brown and Mrs. Clinton (Lois) Hazlett, both of Titusville; four sisters, Mrs. Ben Miller of New Middletown, OH, Mrs. Maude Vincent of Ford City, Mrs. Velma Miller of Seneca and Mrs. Clare Lutz of New Castle; and 9 grandchildren.
Friends may call at Charles A. Morrison Funeral Home where services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, with Rev. F. LeRoy Sarver, pastor of the Good Hope Lutheran Church officiating. Internment will be in Brandon Cemetery.
