General Notes: Husband - William Hazlett


He was a successful farmer and wool grower, residing on a farm of 117 acres, situated in South Franklin Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania.
He was always particularly interested in the public schools and for many years was a school director in the independent district in which he lives, and became president of the school board of the district.
Mr. Hazlett served in other township offices as well, having been treasurer of the school board and also served as road supervisor. In his political views he was a Republican.
