General Notes: Husband - Peter Hazlett

---

He resided on "Pleasant Hill" fruit farm for twenty-seven years or more. It seems it was, from its peculiar situation, the natural home for fruit. In addition to apples, cherries, peach and other trees, of which there were large numbers, he had in his extensive orchard the apricot, which he was cultivating with a success hitherto unknown in that vicinity. In the season of 1878, it was the only farm in that section that had any fruit for sale.
