General Notes: Husband - James Reed

---

He was reared and educated on the old home place in Cecil township, Washington County, Pennsylvania. He remained on the farm until the spring of 1869, when failing health compelled him to give up agricultural pursuits, and he removed to Canonsburg, where he died. Like his father he was a thorough Presbyterian and liberal supporter of the church.
