General Notes: Husband - James Hays


He settled at Beech Creek, Centre County, Pennsylvania. He served as lieutenant under Colonel Bonquest in the French and Indian War, and received for his service the tract of land on which he settled. He raised a large family; he was buried in the Hays graveyard at Beech Creek.
