General Notes: Husband - John Hawk


He was brought by his parents to Franklin County, Pennsylvania, when only four years old.
He was a farmer in Peters township, owning 460 acres of land, and led an active life. In politics he was a Republican, and although never seeking office, he was a school director of Peters township for a number of terms, and he also served as township auditor. He was a member of the Reformed Church.
