General Notes: Husband - John Nichols


He was a man of education and was principal of a school near his Ohio home. Later he moved to Freedom, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, where he established a general store which he conducted until his death, also for a few of his later years engaged in cement manufacture. He lived in Baden and Freedom, and for several years was postmaster at both places but at different times. He died at the age of sixty-one years.


General Notes: Wife - Sarah Hartzell


Her parents were of German birth and speech and resided on a farm near Canton, Ohio, and had twelve sons, and two daughters.

She died at the age of fifty-eight years.
