General Notes: Husband - Edward Hart


He was a pioneer of New Jersey, and commanded a corps of New Jersey "Blues" in the French-Canadian War.

"a gentleman of considerable importance in his day, who, during the French and Indian War, raised a company in Hunterdon County called the `Jersey Blues,' and, at their head, marched to Quebec, where he fought under Wolfe on the Heights of Abraham."
