General Notes: Husband - John Harrison
He was of English descent and related to the well-known Featherstone family. He came to America at the age of nine and was reared to manhood at Germantown, Philadelphia. He emigrated to Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, where he was noted as a farmer and as an importer and breeder of English and Scotch draft horses, an occupation which he followed until his death, which occurred from an accident.
He and his wife had seven children.

Her father was a soldier in the war of the Revolution.
