General Notes: Husband - Samuel Harley

The Harley family came from Germany, settling in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

It is thought he was born in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, where he followed farming, and kept a store and a tavern, at a place called Harleysville. He was a member of the German Baptist church. In politics he was neutral.
