General Notes: Husband - Frederick Hargnett


He was born in Hagerstown, Maryland, and was brought to Ligonier, Pennsylvania, when his parents removed to that section. He was a farmer by occupation, and succeeded to the land taken up by his father.
In politics he was a Democrat, and in religious faith, a member of the German Reformed church.
