General Notes: Husband - William S. Harbison

He was born in Shelby County, Kentucky, of old Virginia stock, and resided continuously in the county until his death. Throughout his career, he was a man in whom his associates reposed the fullest confidence, and for whose judgment they entertained the highest respect in all matters of business. He was elected a director of the Bank of Shelbyville, and on June 13, 1888, was made President of that institution—a position which he filled with eminent credit to himself and with great service to the bank.
