General Notes: Husband - William Harbison

---

What education he received was obtained in the public schools of the home district, at that time conducted on the subscription plan. He was engaged at farm work all his life, owning and cultivating a tract of eighty acres later owned and operated by his only son. He put up a substantial frame dwelling house and barn there, and made various other improvements, but he did not live long to enjoy his home, dying at the early age of thirty-five years. Like his father he was a Whig in politics and a member of the Presbyterian Church, being an elder of the church at Eldersridge.
