General Notes: Husband - Tobias Wasser

His father was the progenitor of the Wasser family in the United States, born in Frankfort-on-the-Rhine, Germany.

Coming to Mercer County, Pennsylvania, in 1833, he and his wife located two miles south of Greenville on what was then known as the Jacob Kamerer farm, and they spent their remaining days there. They had nine children [per HMC 1909, 954 - HMC 1888, 1162 lists only seven], only one was still living in 1909. He was an active member of the German Reformed Church, an officer in the same, and was a strong Republican.
