General Notes: Husband - Thomas Lupher Hays

Taylor Co, IA

He enlisted Aug. 13, 1864 as a private in Company I, Fourth Pennsylvania Cavalry Volunteers, and was discharged with his company at City Point, Virginia, on 1 July 1865. While at City Point he was hospitalized from 19 October to 28 December 1864 for chronic diarrhea. He was drawing a pension of six dollars a month when he died.
