General Notes: Husband - Joseph Hamm


He served three years in the One Hundred and Fortieth Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and was in several of the hard battles of the civil war. After being honorably discharged he returned to Clarion County, Pennsylvania, where he cultivated his farm in Monroe township until 1900, after which he retired and moved to Curllsville. He was an elder of the Presbyterian church.
