General Notes: Husband - Deacon Ebenezer Hamlin

He was an active man in community affairs, and occupied the old farm with his father at Coggin Pond. He removed to Rochester (later Wareham), Massachusetts, was one of the original members of the church there, and was appointed deacon in 1705. In 1742 he became one of the early settlers of Sharon, Connecticut. By his will he left £24, old tenor bills, for the support of the gospel in the Congregational society at Hitchcocks Corner.
