General Notes: Husband - James Patterson

He was born in the North of Ireland and coming to America in 1728, settled in Little Britain township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He was a farmer by occupation; married and reared a family of ten children; five sons and five daughters.

He was born in County Antrim, Ireland, in 1708, and immigrated to America in 1728. Coming to the state of Pennsylvania, he bought large tracts of land from the government, and settled down in Little Britain township, Lancaster County. Later he went to New York to meet his affianced bride from Ireland, Mary Montgomery, whom he brought back with him to Pennsylvania.
