General Notes: Husband - James M. Hamilton


He enlisted in company I, of 4th P. V. C., and was taken prisoner at the battle of the wilderness in 1862, kept as a prisoner for a short time, then exchanged, but died before reaching his regiment. He died near Fortress Monroe. [HVC 1879, 564]
