General Notes: Husband - Alexander Hamilton

He attended the public schools with more or less regularity until he was 20 years of age and then turned his full attention to farming and stock raising. He raised a large amount of registered stock, having Aberdeen Angus cattle and thoroughbred Duroc hogs.
He and his family were members of the Presbyterian Church in which he was a trustee. In politics he was a stanch Republican and at different times held township offices. He was general manager and one of the board of directors of the Buffalo Telephone Company.
