General Notes: Husband - Glenn George Hallam

He was reared and obtained his educational training in Washington, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and early in life began learning the carriage-making trade with J. M. House, who failed in the business in 1871. He then learned the carpenter's trade, and afterwards embarked in the manufacture of brick for many years, later dealing in grain and builder's supplies for six years. After that time he devoted his entire attention to his real estate business, which he had always carried on in connection with his other business enterprises.
He was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal Church, and fraternally is affiliated with the Royal Arcanum.
