General Notes: Husband - Jacob C. Hall

After leaving the common schools he began the business of farming, which he followed continuously until the fall of 1889, when he retired from his farm and began residing at Murrysville. He, like all his ancestors, was a democrat and was an active worker in his party. He served as road supervisor in his township. Both Mr. and Mrs. Hall were members of the Reformed Presbyterian church, in which he was a zealous worker, and was an elder as well as Sunday school superintendent.

[BHCWC, 668] in an article about him, gives his wife as Richey. [HWC 1906iii, 434] gives his wife as Sarah Silvis. The latter source, however, makes no mention of his brother, Levi. The compiler of this website speculates that Sarah Silvis might actually be Levi's wife.
