General Notes: Husband - John Parks


He was born and married in Maryland. He later came to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where he followed the occupation of farming on a property later owned by Clyde Ross, which included one hundred and thirty-five acres and was originally known as the Hood farm. He continued thus occupied until his death.
He was a Whig in politics, and a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.


General Notes: Wife - Mary Hagerman


She survived her husband and died at the age of eighty years on the old family farm.
