General Notes: Husband - Jacob B. Guyer

He married, and they lived first after their marriage in Dayton, Pennsylvania, where Mr. Guyer had a store. After the death of her father, George McComb, they removed to the McComb homestead, near Glade Run Church, where they resided, and Mr. Guyer farmed until October 1868, when they removed to Illinois, where they lived for a few years. They removed to Farmville, Virginia, but they resided there only a short time. While there Mr. Guyer engaged in mercantile business. In April, 1877, they moved to Vicksburg, Michigan. He worked at his trade (carpenter), while there. In February 1880, they removed to Arkansas City, Kansas. Mr. Guyer purchased a farm near that place, but worked at his trade after he removed to Kansas.
