General Notes: Husband - Robert Lytle Marshall


He enlisted and served three years in the army during the Civil War, and was Captain of a Militia Company for a few years at Dayton, Pennsylvania. He was a merchant for several years at Dayton, a member of the firm of J. S. Marshall & Son. He married and he and his wife resided in Dayton until 1879, when they removed to Cowley County, Kansas, where he engaged in farming.
