General Notes: Husband - James McCune

---

His parents came to reside in Hempfield township, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, when he was eight years old, and during his boyhood and youth his time was interspersed between attending school and assisting his father on the homestead farm. He resided in Hempfield continuously for more than forty years, and became well and favorably known in that locality.
