General Notes: Husband - Capt. William Gray


He was an early settler in the Buffalo Valley, Pennsylvania, and a captain in the War of the Revolution.

He resided on the (Susquehanna?) river about one-half mile above Lewisburg, Union County, Pennsylvania. He was a soldier of the Revolution [Capt. Gray, as a lieutenant, was prisoner from August 27, 1776, to December 8, 1776; he died at Sunbury at the age of fifty-four]. [CBRCP-CCUS, 108] This source gives rather different information about this person than [PGSIG, 770].
