General Notes: Husband - Bernard McKean

---

He was born in County Cavan, Ireland, and in 1840 emigrated to America, locating in Long Island, where he married. He removed from there, in 1847, to Franklinville, Cattaraugus County, New York, and from there to Keating township, McKean County, Pennsylvania, in 1849, and purchased a tract of wild land which he improved, and engaged in farming. Mr. McKean was a member of the Catholic Church, and in politics a Democrat.
