General Notes: Husband - John D. Gordon


Civil War: he enlisted as a private on the 5th of September, 1861, and was promoted to lieutenant of company B, 56th Pennsylvania volunteers, on the 5th of April, 1863, and was killed at Gettysburg, was the third man buried in the Pennsylvania lot of the National Cemetery.
