General Notes: Husband - Jesse Goodrich


His ancestry came to America in 1648. Two brothers Goodrich emigrated from England in that year, one of whom, at the instance of a relative whose heir he was, started to return, but was lost at sea. The other brother, John, settled in Connecticut and became the progenitor of one of the most prominent families of New England.

Jesse Goodrich came to Washington County, Pennsylvania, late in the
eighteenth century or in the early part of the nineteenth century.
