General Notes: Husband - John Groff

---

He was just twelve years old when he accompanied his parents to their new home in Union County, Pennsylvania. He became an extensive agriculturist, and was prominent in local affairs as a member of the Reformed Church, and also as an active worker in the Republican party, holding the office of supervisor two terms.
