He was graduated in class of 1895, Westminster College, New Wilmington, Pennsylvania. He read law with Albert H. Bell, Esq., at Greensburg, and was admitted to the bar of Westmoreland county on April 30, 1898. He became a member of the law firm of Lightcap and Warden, with offices at Greensburg and Mount Pleasant.
