General Notes: Husband - Rev. John Godfried Gleim

He was located at Wiesbaden, Germany, where he met Caspar Fahnestock, the ancestor of the American family of that name, who had been deputed by Drs. Muhlenberg, Passavant, and others, to induce Protestant divines to come to America. The following year he came to Pennsylvania, and preached at Germantown until his death, in 1757. With Weiser, Matthias, and others, he published a work entitled "The Inspired."
