MRS. VINNIE JANE GILGER
Mrs. Vinnie Jane Gilger, widow of the late Nicholas Gilger, died at her home at Mariasville, Pa., Sunday May 3, 1931, following an illness from the infirmities of advanced age.
The deceased was born July 10, 1836, in Venango county, Pa., and was a daughter of the late Samuel Sollinger and Anne Downing Sollinger. She was united in marriage with Nicholas Gilger, October 29, 1867. Her husband preceded her in death July 20, 1890.
One daughter, Mrs. Cora Hunter of Mariasville survives.
Her entire life-time of almost 95 years was spent in this community. She was a member of the Methodist Espiscopal church.
Funeral services were held at the home on Tuesday afternoon, May 5, at 2:00 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J. B. Edwards, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church of Emlenton, who was assisted by Rev. Charles I. Steffey, pastor of the Presbyterian church at Seneca and Richland. Internment was made in Zion cemetery at Disler's Corners.

Lusher, Mrs. Joe Bell, David Lusher, Ed Borland, and daughter, Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Cora Beals, of Rockland, Pa.; Samuel Frederick and son, Harry of Knox, Pa.; Miss Musetta Findley and John Findley, of Pittsville, Pa.; Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Sollinger, Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Sollinger, Mr. and Mrs. R. C. Sollinger, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Sollinger, Mr. and Mrs. P. T. Hunter, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Hunter, Mrs. Frank Jacobs, Mr. and Mrs. H. D.
