General Notes: Husband - George Robbins


He was born in Crawford County, Pennsylvania; came to Erie County in 1855, and settled in Washington Township.
He was a shoemaker nearly all of his life, and worked his trade in Waterford for nearly two years, doing a good business. He owned a well-improved farm of sixty-three acres, in Le Boeuf Township, on which his family resided. He served in the Union army three months, during the war of the rebellion. He and his wife were members of the Christian Church; in politics, he was a stanch Republican.
