General Notes: Husband - John Giffen


He succeeded to the family homestead and followed the occupation of farming, thereby gaining considerable financial success. He was honorable and upright in all his dealings, a thorough Christian, and a consistent member of the Presbyterian church, serving in the capacity of elder, as did also his father.
