General Notes: Husband - Fergus Smith


He immigrated to Westmoreland County, PA, in 1783, where he married. He came with his wife to Mercer County in 1801 or 1802, and settled for a short time in the forks of the Shenango, and in 1808 they located on a farm later owned by Charles Vernon.
