General Notes: Husband - William Marcus Linn

His early life was spent upon the farm and he obtained his education by attending the local public schools of Sewickley, Pennsylvania. Circumstances and inclination alike called him to the rural life and to the occupation of agriculture, and coming into possession of forty acres of the family property, he spent most of his life thereon, farming it with a high degree of success. So great was his success, indeed, that he was enabled eventually to dispose of this property and live in retirement from active life for a few years prior to his death. In politics he was a Republican.
